Songs of Hope, Love, Peace & Unity
<p>Tracks 1-5 are the CHOOSE LOVE SUITE. Commissioned by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts in 2022 as part of the theater production: “Choose Love - The Musical”. These original compositions were inspired by the work of the “Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement”, a foundation created as an international educational program after the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings. The program emphasizes the human qualities & attributes of Courage, Gratitude, Forgiveness, and Compassion.

Randy Armstrong plays handmade guitars by Michael Jacobson-Hardy / PRS Hollowbody II Piezo guitar / Wula djembes from Guinea, West Africa / Jerry Jones sitar-guitar / South African marimbas handmade by Gavin Coppenhall, Cape Town, South Africa / Native American style flutes by Todd Aubertin. Jose Duque plays Bosphorus cymbals, Los Cabos drumsticks, Cympad cymbals optimizer, Porter & Davis tactile monitoring system.
All songs were composed and/or arranged, produced & recorded by Randy Armstrong except “Memories of Tomorrow” by Keith Jarrett & “Finlandia” by Jean Sibelius. Songs include:
