World DanceRecorded in 1987 and released in 1988, this album was originally distributed by CBS and reached the top 10 of several national charts including #7 in Billboards Adult Contemporary Chart. With the release of this album Doa added the letter "h" to its name to make it easier to pronounce and so as to not disappoint the fans of D.O.A., the popular punk-rock band touring the U.S. at the same time. Featuring the composing and arranging of Randy Armstrong and Ken LaRoche, this quintet album showcases a suite in three movements by Randy Armstrong composed for the 1986 United Nations International Year of Peace and the song "Wayo" composed by Ken LaRoche which received the most radio airplay of any DOAH WORLD MUSIC ENSEMBLE song and was featured on Entertainment Tonight. This album was the 5th and last album recorded by DOAH WORLD MUSIC ENSEMBLE. Read the reviews or listen to samples of the songs. Click on a link to download the excerpt. You will need an audio player capable of playing MP3 files or Windows Media files, for example Winamp for PCs, or MACAST or iTunes for Macs, or Apple's QuickTime Player, available for both platforms. All of these are free downloads.
